Women’s Soccer Reports
CLINTON, S.C. – Presbyterian College
women’s soccer reported to PC’s Clinton campus on Tuesday
for its first NCAA Division I preseason camp. The Blue Hose
will begin with a fitness test Wednesday morning and will
hold their first practice of the preseason at 3 p.m.

Soccer Schedule
CLINTON, S.C. – Set to begin his 19th season
at the helm of the Blue Hose women’s soccer program,
Presbyterian College head coach Brian Purcell unveiled PC’s
inaugural NCAA Division I schedule on Thursday. PC’s 2007
women’s soccer schedule will feature six home games.

Leffler Selected to
NSCAA All-Southeast Region Team
CLINTON, S.C. –
Senior Lindsay Leffler was Presbyterian College’s lone
representative on the 2006 NSCAA/adidas All-Southeast
Region Team. The North Cross School product earned
a spot on the third team as a defender and was one of
nine South Atlantic Conference women’s soccer players
named to the all-region teams.

ESPN The Magazine
2006 Women's Soccer Academic
All-District III Second Team
BRISTOL, Conn. -
PC’s Amanda Rossie has been named to the 2006
ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District III
College Division Women's Soccer Team it was
announced on Thursday by Presbyterian officials.
Rossie was chosen to the second team.

Catawba Bests PC In Semifinal Round Of Food Lion SAC
Women's Soccer Championship
HICKORY, N.C. – Second-seeded
Catawba broke through with two second-half goals and
its goalkeeper Kathleen Blake stopped all five PC
shots after the break to lift the Catawba Indians to
a 2-0 win over Presbyterian on Friday afternoon
during the semifinal round of the 2006 Food Lion SAC
Women’s Soccer Championship.

Tusculum in Food Lion SAC Women’s Soccer Tournament Action
GREENEVILLE,
TENN. –
Senior
Claire Joyce (Aiken, S.C.) netted her second game-winner in
three days and sophomore Erin Sinkuler (Roswell, Ga.) recorded a
career-high 11 saves as seventh-seeded Presbyterian College
upset No. 2 seed Tusculum College 1-0 Tuesday in one of four
quarterfinal matches of the 2006 Food Lion South Atlantic
Conference Women's Soccer Tournament.

Women's Soccer All-Conference Team
ROCK HILL, S.C. – PC placed
three women’s soccer players on the SAC Women’s
All-Conference teams, the league announced on
Tuesday. Claire Joyce and Lindsay Leffler were both
chosen to the first team, while Lytle Cannon was
selected as a second team member.

team placed three players on the Preseason All-South
Atlantic Conference team, the league office announced
Tuesday. Claire Joyce (Aiken, S.C.), Ginny Wolfe
(Lexington, S.C.) and Lindsey Leffler (Rocky Mount, Va.)
were all named to the conference’s second team.
