168 students and athletes turned out for the anticipated event and packed the blackjack, poker, roulette, and craps tables, which were manned by our own faculty and staff. President Dr. John V. Griffith, Dr. Campbell of the History department, and Interim Dean of Students Linda Jameison, wearing classic Vegas green visors, were only a few of the faculty who served as dealers at the tables.

On October 30, to get in the spirit for Halloween, PC hosted a Halloween party for the children at Thornwell to attend from three to five. There were different groups from PC hosting an assortment of games for the children and even the college students to play, and of course there was candy galore.
The third Chinese Corner event taught students the essence of Chinese Paper-cutting. The lesson was taught by one of the Chinese language professors. She essentially gave us the history of this art and the steps to perfecting our paper-cutting skills. Many students enjoyed the opportunity to learn such a prestige tradition.
This week I decided to start a series of articles comparing our country to the countries represented here on our campus. Well, the numbers are in for last month and guess who won? Senior Apartments. That’s right! Senior Apartments will win the prize for this month.
