“Highlander Highlights” is an attempt to let people have an easily accessible calendar of events and hopefully get more people involved in that making of a master calendar.

Homecoming is a tradition that has been celebrated since the early days of our parents, grandparents, and even great grandparents. It is a time to show pride for our institution and celebrate the alumni who have carried on the beliefs of PC to the outside world. It is a time for those alumni to return and remember the impact their college career had on their lives. It is a time for parents of current students to visit and celebrate with their students. It is a time for the freshman to rejoice and see what PC is all about.
After all the campaigning, speech giving, and voting, the new Freshman Class President, Jacob Plumb, has been elected and sworn in. And now that that is all done, the following questions should help everyone get to know the new Freshman President and see what some of his plans are:
The speaker was Greenwood High School football Coach Tony Temple, the youth pastor at Friendship Worship Center in Abbeville, South Carolina. Worship was lead by John Dukes, Worship Pastor at Capstone Church in Fountain Inn, South Carolina.
Dancing and chanting, “You don’t wanna go home!” hopefully sent the message to the freshmen that PC is a warm place, and that it is perfectly okay to break out into song.
