For freshmen, the PC journey is just beginning, for seniors, the journey is rapidly coasting to a close, and for everyone else, the journey continues.
We have all witnessed the use of alcohol on campus. Recently, fraternity court was shut down for a period of several weeks prior to spring break. Due to recent events, a new look at alcohol on campus is taking hold. The policies for fraternity court are being analyzed and reevaluated.
PC’s Student Union Board hosted its second event of the Spring semester with a Bingo Night in Springs. Over 150 students came out to test their luck in one of the most well-known games of chance while enjoying the late-night food offerings of Springs
PC’s Student Union Board hosted its first event of the new semester with a Coffee House Night on Friday in Springs Campus Center. Around 200 students turned out to watch their fellow students and friends sing, play instruments, or recite poetry at the open mic before listening to guitarist, keyboardist, and singer Dylan Arms perform.
168 students and athletes turned out for the anticipated event and packed the blackjack, poker, roulette, and craps tables, which were manned by our own faculty and staff. President Dr. John V. Griffith, Dr. Campbell of the History department, and Interim Dean of Students Linda Jameison, wearing classic Vegas green visors, were only a few of the faculty who served as dealers at the tables.
