Recommended Course Sequence

Economics & Business Administration (EBA) majors start their PC studies with a strong liberal arts foundation before tackling their first business courses. We recommend that students select a major advisor by their sophomore year. There is some flexibility in ordering of courses, and advisors can alert students to available options.

Considering prerequisites and general education requirements, Business Administration majors should take courses in the years as specified below.

Business Administration Major with Concentration in Management

  • Sophomore Year: ECON 201, ECON 202, ACCT 203, ACCT 204, BADM 299
  • Junior Year: BADM 307, BADM 315, BADM 332, STAT 319, Internship or International Travel Experience, two upper-level 3-hour EBA electives
  • Senior Year: BADM 301, BADM 351, BADM 352, two upper-level EBA electives, International Business elective

Business Administration Major with Concentration in Accounting

  • Sophomore Year: ECON 201, ECON 202, ACCT 203, BADM 299, BADM 307, BADM 315
  • Junior Year: ACCT 311, ACCT 312, ACCT 328, BADM 332, STAT 319, Internship or International Travel Experience, one upper-level Accounting elective
  • Senior Year: ACCT 313, BADM 301, BADM 351, BADM 352, one upper-level Accounting elective, International Business elective

Business Administration Major with Concentration in Economics

  • Sophomore Year: ECON 201, ECON 202, ACCT 203, ACCT 204, BADM 299
  • Junior Year: BADM 307, BADM 315, BADM 332, STAT 319, ECON 310, ECON 330, Internship or International Travel Experience

Economics Major
