Internship Program

The Business Department, in conjunction with PC’s Department of Career Services and Internships, has had excellent success in placing graduates in business and industry. Recent graduates have embarked on careers in many diverse areas, including medical and pharmaceutical sales, electric utilities, banking, health care administration, and management information systems. Others have gone into careers with public accounting firms and internal auditing and accounting departments of industrial firms. Still other graduates are working in sales or marketing with department stores, office equipment firms, and other related areas. When it comes to finding a job, our students benefit from the extensive contacts available through our network of successful graduates already in the business world.

Each student is required to complete an intercultural experience or an internship before graduation. The internships provide an opportunity to build an impressive resume while still in college. The department coordinates with Linda Jameison, Director of Career Services and Internships, to provide excellent opportunities for our students. The program offers flexibility in that the internship can be accomplished during the semester or during the summer.
