The Spanish Club is a group of students who gather to explore and learn more about the Spanish culture, traditions, and language. Normally each fall, the Spanish Club hosts “Sevillana Night.” During this event, students enjoy Spanish cuisine and are taught the Flamenco dance by an international Spanish student. The Spanish Club also hosts other cultural events: such as cultural presentations by our Hispanic students, watching movies that highlight the Hispanic culture, and traditions or going to Hispanic restaurants like Sacha’s Cafe in Greenville, an authentic Colombian restaurant. The Spanish Club also participates in other events around campus such as Special Olympics.
