Scholarship

One of  most important aspects of fraternity membership is scholarship. In order to challenge their members to excel academically, each fraternity has established educational programming. To be initiated as a member, you must obtain grade requirements, which vary between each fraternity.

Service

Greek men’s interests and concerns go beyond the confines of campus life. Fraternities sponsor activities each year to impact the local community and earn money for their national philanthropies as well as local organizations. This past fall,  PC’s Interfraternity Council supported Bindy Bridgeman in the Anderson Buddy Walk. In order to educate and raise awareness for Bindy, the Interfraternity Council hosted a Wing Eating Contest and a joint Karaoke night with the Panhellenic Council. The men raised a little over $700 in support for Bindy.

Leadership

Fraternities provide members with opportunities to serve as officers and committee chairs, which help develop and strengthen leadership skills.  Greek men also hold leadership positions in non-Greek organizations on campus, including Student Government Association, Student Union Board, Student Volunteer Services, Honor Council, departmental organizations, and many other Registered Student Organizations.
