Presbyterian College students are involved, service-oriented leaders and are committed to their institution and to each other. Annual awards provide the opportunity to celebrate those students who consistently reach beyond their own expectations. Please take time to nominate these spectacular students for the recognition they deserve. Questions for consideration are listed on each awards webpage. Campus Life and the Student Life Council offer several award opportunities, which are listed below.
Senior Class Recognitions and Awards
Senior Class Recognitions and Awards are presented each year to members of the Senior Class. These awards celebrate a student’s commitment to their PC experience by participation in service, extracurricular activities, and academic success. Nomination deadlines vary, for more information on these awards, go to the Senior Class Awards page.
Bates Public Service Award
The Stephen Potts Bates (Class of 1984) Public Service Award celebrates rising juniors or seniors who show promise and commitment and have a desire to pursue lifelong public service through profession or civic involvement. The nominee must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and exhibit a “love of all things Blue Hose” through their involvement at PC. Additional consideration may be given to a student actively involved in campus publications. The nomination deadline for this award will be announced in Spring 2015, and requires completion of the nomination form.
If you have students or organizations you wish to nominate for these awards, please contact Debby Young (email@example.com) in Campus Life. Please include a few sentences explaining why you are nominating the student or organization for the award, considering the questions provided.
