Physical therapy intern gets accepted to MUSC

Anna Brooks Churm, Biology Major, Class of 2008
Physical Therapy Internship, Whitten Center and Presbyterian Home
Events Planning Internship, Advancement Office, PC

During my senior year I was an events-planning intern in the advancement office at PC. I learned about the logistics of planning a successful event and all the behind-the-scenes work that goes into it.

Before that . . .

At Whitten Center and Presbyterian Home I was able to learn more about the physical therapy profession. I learned a lot about patient care and different health issues that patients were having.

I have really enjoyed all the internships. I don't even think I can pick a favorite because they have all been great and different from one another. The two physical therapy internships have been most helpful for my plans after PC because I was accepted into the Doctor of Physical Therapy program in the College of Health Professions at MUSC.
