Alpha/Omega is a co-ed Bible study designed especially for participants in the school's Greek system. This group meets monthly for dinner, fellowship, and community prayer. Each year we will consider different topics from the perspectives of Christian values and beliefs.
At the Well: Women in Ministry is a weekly women's Bible study and time of table fellowship. Within this common community, women celebrate and support their respective callings to lives of ministry and service. Through this time of food and conversation, members of this group will regularly nurture and empower one another in their faith journeys.
Buechner Society recognizes all vocational callings as worthy and ordained by God. This community of discernment mutually supports one another in seeking answers to the question of: "What am I going to do with my life?"
Campus Outreach is an evangelical Christian ministry that offers many opportunities for discipleship, worship, spiritual support and weekly biblical study.
Canterbury Club is a ministry of the Episcopal Church that offers a "book club," dinner fellowship, and other worship opportunities.
Common Grounds is the regularly anointed time for casual community fellowship and coffee. Twice weekly, the Chaplain's Office will become the gathering place for refreshment and renewal.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes is an interdenominational ministry that seeks to encourage, serve, and spread God's love to athletes and other students. They provide concerts, speakers, worship, evangelism, and discipleship opportunities at the college and throughout the wider community.
Newman Club is a ministry of the Catholic Church that is open to all. They provide forums for dialogue, awareness, and understanding while seeking to foster deeper relationships between college Catholics and other community members. In an effort to stimulate better support and participation with our school's Catholic population, we have created a forum series that offers "round table" discussions around issues particularly relevant within the Catholic Church.
Reel Faith is a "movie club" that will travel together to view compelling films and then discuss their relevance for our lives of faith.
Rauch Reader is the monthly newsletter of the Chaplain's Office. It provides community calendars, campus ministry updates, and opportunities for involvement.
SoulFeast is a community of students who gather regularly at the home of the Chaplain for dinner and lively discussions of broad and provocative topics like "Dreams," "Romantic Love," and "Fear of Death." This ministry reaches out to those who do not readily self-identify with any one denomination or campus ministry.
Presbyterian Student Association (PSA) is a ministry of the Presbyterian Church (USA) that gathers each Monday evening for song, rousing discussion, and intimate fellowship.
Wesley Foundation is a ministry related to the United Methodist Church. Like the other denominational campus groups, these individuals will meet regularly for discussion, song, and prayer.
Winter Conference is an annual mountain weekend gathering of students, faculty, and staff for casual worship and fellowship. In the 2002 conference, Rev. Otis Moss and singer David Lamotte worked with a student ministry team in a program entitled: "Jesus and Ja Rule."
