2008 Conference - February 1-2, 2008

The Second Annual Legacy Black Student Leadership Conference is designed to help students claim the legacy of leadership and service passed on by African American leaders too numerous to mention.  This powerful conference will expose students to practical leadership skills that can help them become confident leaders who realize their personal, professional, and spiritual goals.  It will also provide a forum for discussing issues common to students of color at small, private colleges and universities in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. <more>

Here's what participants at the 2007 Legacy Conference had to say about the workshops last year:

"They all addressed important issues in a passionate manner and motivated the students to be proactive and to take action. These sessions left a strong impact on my experience."

"Information was inspiring and applicable."

"They were all captivating and relevant to our current positions in life."
