Service

Halloween for kidsPC's motto, "Dum Vivimus Servimus," or "While we live, we serve," is as distinguishable as the Blue Hose mascot itself.

"Dum Vivimus Servimus" gets at the heart of what the college is all about: the giving up of one's self for the good of another. With nearly 70% of the students participating in some type of service, the spirit of volunteerism lives on in the PC community.

From freshman orientation on, PC students are invited and encouraged to be involved in service activities. Athletic teams, Greek fraternities and sororities, and other student clubs and organizations frequently participate in service projects or fund raisers, from individual philanthropies to those organized by Student Volunteer Services. Service programs on campus include the CHAMPS program, Special Olympics, Relay for Life, environmental awareness activities, and opportunities to work with children and the elderly in the Clinton community.
