Washington Semester Program through American University
DEADLINE for Fall 2010 - Aprli 1, 2010
Presbyterian College is a participating institution/member school in the Washington Semester Program through American University in Washington DC. Students can spend a Fall, Spring or Summer semester gaining experience through internship and course work in the following areas;
- American National Politics
- U.S. Foreign Policy
- American Public Law (Civil Liberties)
- Justice (Criminal)
- Transforming Communities (Urban Social Change)
- Economic Policy
- Journalism (Print and Broadcast Media)
- Note: Required for a Minor in Media Studies, Journalism Track
- American History (includes Travel throughout Mid-Atlantic)
- Peace and Conflict Resolution (includes Travel to Serbia, Croatia and Bosnia)
- International Environment and Development (includes travel to Brazil…the Rainforest of Rio)
- International Law and Organizations (includes Travel to New York City, Brussels, The Hague and Strasbourg)
- Theatre in Washington and London
- International Business and Trade (option to include travel to Shanghai, Beijing)
