You have experienced campus life, part-time and summer jobs, maybe even your internship, and you are ready to move forward. Evaluating what you have done through career fairs, employer interaction, skill inventories, and grad school exploration.

 

Internships - You know an internship is one way to meet graduation requirements. It is also a way to explore your options. Check out the variety of internships others students have done, current opportunities on the Blue Hose CareerNet , and your own imagination. The sky is the limit!   

 

Transferable Skills - Link to this handout to determine your strengths and weaknesses. We can help you find ways to develop additional transferable skills. We can also help you learn to highlight your skills on a resume or in an interview.

 

Career Events - Each year a variety of career fairs and other events allow students to meet professionals and recruiters to explore their career interests.  Students can interview, ask questions, learn about different industries, etc.

Graduate School Resources – Thinking about the possibility of graduate school – or ready to make a decision, we are ready to discuss your questions. We offer practice tests through Kaplan and workbooks for preparation. We can help you explore the variety of graduate programs that may meet your needs, as well as give guidance on researching graduate school finances.
