Ailey II is universally renowned for merging the spirit and energy of the country’s best young dance talent with the passion and creative vision of today’s most outstanding emerging choreographers.  Alvin Ailey personally appointed former Ailey member, Sylvia Waters, as Artistic Director and under her direction, Ailey II has flourished into one of the most popular dance companies in the country.  The 12 members of Ailey II are handpicked from the student body of The Ailey School. The performances at Presbyterian College will offer the audience a rare opportunity to see an internationally renowned dance company in the intimate setting of the Harper Theatre. Individual tickets: $15 adults; $8 children, students, and seniors.

The Hot Club of San Francisco celebrates the timeless music of Django Reinhardt and Stephanie Grappelli’s pioneering Hot Club de France. With the all-string instrumentation of the original Hot Club, this versatile and accomplished ensemble takes listeners back in time to the 1930s, to the smoky jazz clubs of Paris, and the gypsy caravans of Europe’s countryside. Mike Baur has served as Chief Executive Officer of ScanSource, Inc., since January 2000. He co-founded the company in 1992 with only six employees. Today, the international company posts annual sales of nearly $3 billion; has 26 locations across North America, Latin America, and Europe; and employs nearly 1,500 people. Mr. Baur served as president of the company from its inception in 1992 until 2007. He has been a member of the Board of Directors since December 1995. Mr. Baur has more than 30 years of experience in the IT industry, having served in various leadership and senior management roles in the technology and distribution industries before joining ScanSource, Inc.
