Art Department Faculty

Ralph Paquin, department chairman and associate professor of art, teaches ceramics, sculpture, drawing, and advanced junior and senior seminars. He exhibits internationally and has earned favorable critical acclaim from New York art critic Donald Kuspit in lectures on contemporary ceramic sculpture. His list of exhibits includes MIT and the Artists’ Space in New York City.

Mark Anderson teaches all levels of painting, drawing, Media and Society, art appreciation, art history, and advance junior and senior seminars and has exhibited his works at the Las Vegas Museum of Art as well as in galleries and museum throughout the region. His work has received favorable mention in the New Art Examiner where he is described as a painter of international importance.

Dr. Laura Crary teaches art history survey, Renaissance art, Baroque and Romantic art, Modern art, women in art, contemporary art theory and criticism, and Latin American art history. She has presented papers and chaired symposia at the CAA annual conference.
