Presbyterian College Writing Awards
Presbyterian College has two writing-based awards: the Freshman Writing Award and the Creative Writing Award. Both began in 2008 and offer monetary awards to the winners.
The Creative Writing Award
The Freshman Writing Award
Faculty members from any department submit essays written by freshmen for the Freshman Writing Award competition. A panel of faculty from different departments, including a member of the English department, choose the winner, who is announced at the Opening Convocation the following year.
