Second, log on to Banner WebIf your ID has an asterisk (*) in front, please type it in or you will not be able to login successfully. In Banner Web, you can accept or decline any aid offered.  You will probably want to accept all your grants and scholarships!  You will also have the opportunity to accept/decline any loans or work study offered.  To accept your award offer please follow the following links:

Third, while at the Accept Award Offer tab please review any unsatisfied requirements found at the bottom of the page.  Requirements are forms or other paperwork needed to finalize your financial aid award.  Many of them can be completed from the website by clicking on the hyperlink associated with the requirement.

Finally, if you or your parents want to borrow the Stafford and/or PLUS Loan(s), accept the loans in BannerWeb, then visit our lender list found at www.presby.edu/finaid to choose a lender and complete the necessary Promissory note(s).  First time Stafford Loan borrowers must also complete an entrance interview which outlines your rights and responsibilities as a borrower.  You can complete an entrance interview at Mapping Your Future’s.org website.

As always, if you have questions, please give us a call at 864.833.8290 or email us at finaid@presby.edu.

Calculating loans to pay balance:

Prospective students can borrow up to $5,500 in a Stafford Loan to assist in financing the balance.  Please remember that most lenders have 1.5% in fees.  Typically, this translates to a net of $5,417 that is applied to the balance.

Parents who borrow a PLUS Loan can calculate the amount needed by taking the balance owed after all grants, scholarships, student loans and other aid (except work-study) are subtracted.  This remaining balance can be multiplied by lender fees of 3% to calculate the amount needed to borrow.

Payment Plan Option

Parents/Students wishing to participate in a payment plan can begin in April and spread out any balance owed over 12 months, interest free.

Many parents find this an attractive alternative to borrowing a PLUS Loan.

To register for a payment plan, please visit the website.  Presbyterian College has a long and prosperous relationship with ECSI.  We believe you will be pleased with their level of service.
