Every year, alumni, parents, faculty, and friends show their commitment to PC by giving to the Annual Fund. PC's Annual Fund contains unrestricted funds that go into the PC Fund and Scotsman Club fund.

Funds put into The PC Fund go toward academic pursuits, while Scotsman Club funds help athletic efforts. Regardless of which area lies closer to the hearts of Annual Fund givers, their collective generosity, year after year, provides a strong foundation for the college.

Gifts to the Annual Fund are important for two more reasons.

• The total cost to run the College is not covered in tuition alone. The Annual Fund helps to alleviate some of the costs to operate the College.
• When foundations are approached to support PC, or other educational institutions, one of their main considerations is the percentage of alumni support. Plus, college ranking organizations look at participation in a college's annual fund to indicate how much confidence others have in a college. The rankings are significant because they help attract talented students, faculty, and staff.
