Opening Doors to the Future

PC has renewed its historic covenant with the Presbyterian Church (USA). PC will remain true to its heritage and calling to be a center for servant leader development for the Church for generations to come. The Church Campaign allows the Church and the college to partner and build a solid financial base to secure for the future the historically Church related degree programs, the co-curricular programs, and the outreach programs that embody the motto of the college "While We Live, We Serve."

Through the Church campaign, doors will open so that ….

Students have the opportunity to receive an excellent education in a value-rich environment.

Minds will be opened as they engage the Christian faith in a global context.

Hearts will be opened as they engage the real world around them in practical opportunities provided by internships and service programs.

The overall $10 million campaign goal is divided into three program areas:

ACADEMIC   -   We have set a goal of $5 million dollars for PC's Church Scholarship Program, which will be used to establish new scholarships and strengthen existing church scholarships.

A goal of $2 million has been set for PC's Christian Education program. The mark includes $1.5 million to establish a professorship in Christian Education and $500,000 to establish an operating endowment for the program.

CO-CURRICULAR  -  It will take $1 million to endow PC's Celtic Cross Program.  We have set a goal of $1 million for annual support of general operations and the Campus Ministry Program, including Bluefish, EcuCross, and other programs of the Chaplain's Office.

OUTREACH  -  A goal of $1 million has been set to help PC's Christian Service Programs, including $500,000 for the Student Volunteer Service (SVS) program and $500,000 to endow the CHAMPS program.

Currently, PC has raised approximately $3.5 million towards a $10 million goal of the Church Campaign.  Click here to learn more about Religious Life
