In May of 2006, the history department sponsored a trip to Oxford, England. Three professors from the the history and English departments led the group and, while there, taught three courses: Scottish Reformation (history), Best of British Theatre (English), and the Scottish Enlightenment (history).
While on the trip, students were able to visit a variety of places in the region around Oxford. Some of the highlights included visits to Stratford-on-Avon and Windsor Castle, as well as a hiking trip to a 12th century pub on the Thames River. In addition, some students were able to visit St. Andrews, Scotland, and even Ireland, Paris, and Germany.
