Presbyterian College invites applications for (two) Admissions Counselors. This full-time 12 month position reports to the Dean of Enrollment Management and is responsible for developing a strong applicant pool in a specific geographic region to assist in meeting enrollment objectives.
Primary responsibilities will include high school visits, college fairs, and events on and off campus, interviews, and tours. Admissions Counselors typically travel 6-10 weeks per year and are responsible for developing relationships with prospective students and parents, as well as high school guidance counselors and independent consultants.
Preferred candidates will have a bachelor’s degree and a deep appreciation for the liberal arts experience. Excellent communication and organizational skills are required, along with a strong sense of motivation to work independently and in a group setting. Several years of recruiting or college counseling is preferred, but not required. Valid driver license required.
