The Presbyterian College Department of Religion and Philosophy seeks a scholar of religion or philosophy with expertise in the history and diversity of religion in America and around the world for a two-year faculty appointment. Our primary aim is for a colleague who will complement our existing strengths in Biblical Studies, Christian Practices, Christian Education, and Ethics. We especially welcome applications from candidates with competencies in African or African-American religious experience or a focus on interfaith or interreligious dialogue. Teaching responsibilities include seven courses per year, three to four of which support the college’s General Education curriculum requirement of Old and New Testament survey courses.
