International Internships
There are a variety of opportunities out there for those seeking internship opportunities at PC. Those mentioned here are under the administration of the International Programs Office through the Study Abroad Program at PC. The IP opportunities have been divided into two groups:
INTERNSHIP BASED PROGRAMS: This group, which includes the Washington Semester Program and the Hansard Scholars Programme, are designed so that the internship is the primary focus of the program.
PROGRAMS WITH INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES: This group, which includes Macquarie University and American Intercontinental Univeristy programs at our current affiliated institutions where student may or may not choose to incorperate an intership into their experience. There is sometimes a higher GPA requirement, or language requirement to participate in the internship.
All students looking at the possibility of a program that includes an internship should begin by discussing with their academic advisor how the internship will fit and complement their academic career at PC followed by a conversation with the Career Services Office to discuss the connection of their internship to career goals and get advice about preparing for their internship.

Hansard Scholars Programme

The Hansard Scholars Programme offers a combination of courses taken at the internationally renowned London School of Economic and an internship with a member of the British Parliament. It is a competitive program with strong reputation and an extensive application. Interested students should speak with Dr. Weaver of the Political Science Department.
