The Circulation Department at the Presbyterian College Library includes full-time staff and student assistants. Hours are posted on the outer doors and a Book Drop is provided at the east end of the front portico for the patron's convenience when the Library is closed.
Circulation of Materials
The Circulation Desk staff handles the check-out, check-in, renewal, placing of holds, and e-mail notification on overdue library items and fines for late materials. See the Circulation Policy for more information.
Course Reserves
Supplemental readings and media materials assigned as outside reading, viewing, listening by professors can be found at the Circulation Desk on the Reserve Shelf. See Reserve Services-Students or Reserve Procedures-Faculty for more information.
Library Classroom/Conference Room Reservations
College faculty and administrators may reserve library classrooms and conference rooms by calling or e-mailing Beverly Blalock at 833-7081 or bblalock@presby.edu. Library meeting facilities are also available to the local community; however, college classes and events have priority.
Interlibrary Loan
A service provided by the Circulation Department where books or journal articles not available at PC can be ordered from other libraries for a small fee. For more information see our ILL web page.
Wireless Laptop Check-out
Several laptop computers are available for check-out at the Circulation Desk for use within the Library. For more information see Wireless Laptop Computers.
Missing Books
Inquire at the Circulation Desk about library materials that cannot be found on the shelves. The staff will search for the item and follow up with the patron.
Photocopiers
A coin-operated copier is available to the public on the main floor of the library at a cost of $.10 each page. A department code-operated copier is also available for faculty and staff use in the copy center.
