The Reference Desk at the Presbyterian College Library is staffed by professional librarians Sunday through Friday and most evenings.

Librarians at the desk are always available to answer your questions and assist you with research on a one-on-one basis. You may also call or e-mail using the contact information above. For an in-depth research consultation we recommend making an appointment with a Reference Librarian.

Library instruction is available for any PC class at the request of the professor. Librarians teach research methods and will compile appropriate resources available at PC into an online Course Guide to assist students in completing assignments and papers. See Guidelines for Requesting Library Instruction for more information.

In partnership with the faculty, the Reference Department works to select and update quality reference resources, both print and electronic, to support the academic needs of the college.

PC students, faculty, and staff wishing to borrow books from other colleges and universities in the state should use PASCAL Delivers. If a book is needed immediately, PC borrowers may go to another academic library and borrow the book through the PASCAL Visiting Patrons Service starting in Fall 2009.

The SCICU Statewide Borrowing Agreement is no longer active.
