Diversity at PC

The PC community places value on the contributions that our diverse student body makes toward the overall education of our students, especially in learning to live, socialize, and work cooperatively in an increasingly global society.

In and out of the classroom, students interact with peers from different backgrounds through social events, athletics, music, theater and the arts

In addition, PC offers a number of academic and intercultural programs which enhances our students’ global experience and perspective. Some of these Academic and Intercultural Programs include an Africana Studies Minor, a Civil Rights Seminar, Latin American Studies Minor, Southern Studies Minor, and Women’s and Gender Studies Minor as well as global seminars sponsored by different groups and programs on campus like the Confucius Institute, International Programs, and the Russell Media Program.
