HANDBELLS

Dr. Ron Davis is crazy about handbells.  He's a handbellaholic.  He plays handbells, directs handbell choirs, leads handbell clinics, cleans handbells, repairs handbells, and eats handbells for lunch - well, that last part is a bit of an exaggeration - he only munches on handbells.

And, he has quite the odd sense of humor - but not about handbell playing - about that, he's all 100% serious and business.

And his handbell players (or ding-a-lings) are serious about what they do, too.  Indeed, to perform at the highest level where every bell represents a unique contribution to the performance, players have to be serious - and we're not talking your baseline arrangements for church bell choirs here, either. Most of the arrangements performed by the PC Ringers are extremely demanding, many requiring additional instrumentation such as obbligato instruments, percussion, etc.
