Basic PR Text for PC Choir and Ringers tour:

The sounds of anthems, sacred hymns, and spiritual songs will fill sanctuaries when The Presbyterian College Choir and The PC Ringers visit churches in Oak Ridge, NC; Kingstree, SC; James Island, SC; Mt. Pleasant, SC; and, Columbia, SC. The PC Choir is the premier touring choral ensemble at Presbyterian College and The PC Ringers is among the finest collegiate bell choirs in the Southeast US. Together on tour in 2015, they will be present a performance of sacred repertoire that will include traditional selections from the Renaissance, Classical, and Romantic music periods as well as traditional and modern arrangements of hymn tunes and spirituals.

The PC Choir is directed by Dr. Porter Stokes, also Chair of the Department of Music at PC.  Dr. Ron Davis is the director of The PC Ringers and also serves as college organist and accompanist for the PC Choir.
