Former football coach dies at 90

Frank Jones, Presbyterian College football coach from 1957-1961, died on Saturday, July 25 at the age of 90.
The Tifton, Georgia native had three winning seasons as coach of the Blue Hose. Jones’ best season was 1959, when he led the team to the Tangerine Bowl with a 9-2 record.
"(Coach Jones) will be remembered as a fine coach who developed excellent football players," said Cally Gault, former PC football coach and athletic director.
Jones is seated in the 2008 photo and is accompanied by Gault and PC football coach Harold Nichols.
