Homecoming is almost here

Homecoming & Alumni Weekend 2009 is Friday, October 23rd and Saturday, October 24th. Events on both days are designed to update alumni and friends on current happenings at PC as they revisit campus. Come join the faculty, students, and staff as they compete against one another in PC’s first ever Bike Bonanza to promote the green initiative on campus.

Ben Hay Hammet Society Reception Honoring the Class of 1959
, President’s House
Bring your Beanies and your memories and stories, as Dr. and Mrs. Griffith welcome you at the President’s House and honor your 50 years of commitment to Presbyterian College. The Ben Hay Hammet Society consists of all classes who have already celebrated their 50th reunion. All classes prior to 1959 are invited to this reception.

Take it on Homecoming Friday Night Party, Class Reunions, & Pep Rally

Cheerleaders, Food, Football Team, and music by Sandy B and the All Stars. It’s the 2nd annual Friday night Pep rally! Join us as we rally around Coach Harold Nichols and the Blue Hose football team. Then, put on your dancing shoes and shag the night away! The football team, cheerleaders, and an appearance by Coach Nichols will build the level of excitement so that we will PAINT IT BLUE on Saturday! Reunion classes (’59, ’64, ’69, ’74, ’79, ’84, ’89, ’94, ’99, & ’04) will have areas to meet and greet.

Join your classmates on the lawn of West Plaza for a Blue Hose breakfast and reception. Reunion class pictures will be taken at 10:00 (classes ending in a 4 or 9). Please plan to attend.

This special meeting, which honors alumni for their community service, professional achievements, and dedication to Presbyterian College, is the highlight of Alumni weekend. There will be musical selections and greets from President John Griffith. The program ends with the singing of the Alma Mater.

The “Little Scotties” will have fun playing in the jump castles, getting their faces painted, and all sorts of other fun activities.
