The code focuses on responsibilities such as respect for the ideas, values, and property of others; a willingness to subordinate one’s own interests to the well-being of the community; and a dedication to abide by the rules of PC. The code prohibits cheating, lying, plagiarism, stealing, assault, and vandalism. The normal first offense penalty for an honor violation is a two-semester suspension.
