The Presbyterian College Fund
The PC Fund encourages alumni, students, parents, and friends to recall and renew their Bluehose ties by making annual gifts that strengthen PC's ability to serve students through scholarships, teaching innovations, and extracurricular activities. Annual gifts to the PC Fund range from $5 to $50,000 and upward, and include contributions to the Scotsman Club. They are used exclusively to benefit students and faculty.
On his "different perspective" of PC
Ben Edwards '07
I had the unique opportunity of gaining a diferent perspective on Presbyterian College and my four years of undergraduate work. Being the fourth in my immediate family to attend PC, I thought I knew what to expect. The truth is, my father, brother, sister, and myself all had similar, yet completely different college experiences.
Small classes as majors in the History Dept., fraternity membership, and taking part in worthy college activities were common threads for all of us. However, I was able to maintain a unique experience of my own. The relationships I forged with faculty and classmates are ones I will value and maintain forever. I was also given the opportunity, through the Kappa Alpha Order, to touch the lives of young kids in the Clinton community by coaching 10 and under YMCA basketball teams all four years.
I believe it was there in the Clintion YMCA gymnasium that I was able to have the greatest impact on others. Their impact on me is equal. Presbyterian College offers many opportunities, though some not as obvious as others. I just had to look in the right spots.
