The Scotsman Club, formerly known as the Walter Johnson Club, was created in 1937. Its purpose is to provide athletic scholarships for young men and women who excel in both sports venues and classrooms.

Golf Outing- Friday, 11/9
A limited number of spaces are available for golfing on Kiawah Island on Friday, November 9. 5 four-somes will tee-off for the Banging Blue Hose Challenge. Whether you “bang” the ball, “bomb” the ball, or just want to have a “blast!” come join us for a great day on one of South Carolina’s premier golf courses. Taste of Charleston- Friday, 11/9
After a long day of golf, tennis, or shopping, join us for lowcountry specialties at the Harbour Club, one of Charleston’s grand dinner clubs, for a night of great food, super wine, and great fellowship. If weather permits, the event will be held on the third floor veranda overlooking the harbor. Come join us for a perfect night before the BIG game. Blue Hose Slumber Party- Friday, 11/9-11/11
Once your belly is full of great food and great wine, sleep is in order. While Bobby Bentley won’t be joining you for a pillow fight, the Blue Hose have arranged for a discounted rate at the Hilton Garden Inn, 5265 International Blvd., North Charleston, SC. The Hilton is near the stadium, so come one, come all. The master list is being kept at Presbyterian College, so contact Mitchell Spearman directly to reserve your room at a much discounted rate of $99.00. Continental Breakfast is included.

Shrimp, Grits and a can of Victory – Friday, 11/10
Since you’ve slept great, had a hearty breakfast, now you’re ready to Play Ball… or at least watch the Blue Hose Play Ball!!! Join us for a shrimp-and-grits tailgate prior to the football game from 11:30-1:30. We’ll be at the Stadium, near University Blvd. (check website for more details). The cost will be $10.00 a person.
