Info about alumni donor percentages
As a PC graduate, you are able to prove to foundations, corporations, and individuals that PC is one of the best liberal arts colleges through your actions, your successes, and your donations to your alma mater. Foundations and corporations look initially at alumni support to determine if they will grant a college funds to assist with buildings, scholarships, and faculty/student research. As a graduate, your continued support proves to these organizations that you support PC and our mission and that you see the importance of providing a similar experience to those PC students who follow in your footsteps.
Our goal by 2010 is, PC will be ranked among the top ten liberal arts colleges in the Southeast. If we are going to hold our ground with our competitors in this ranking, we have to meet them head to head on every playing field—on the athletic field, in the classroom, and through our fundraising efforts. We need your help to make this happen.
Last year, Wofford reached 39% alumni giving and Furman reached 52%. In comparison, PC reached 30% alumni giving. Every gift of $25 or more counts towards the overall alumni giving percentage and with every 81 alumni that give, our total alumni percentage increases by 1%. We need to beat Furman and Wofford at their own game! Make a gift to the PC Fund or Scotsman Club today

Top three giving classes are
Class of 1956 43% participation
Class of 1955 41%
Class of 1970 40%
**This is all of our funds, not just PC Fund and Scotsman Club
The pride we have for PC should be reflected in our percentages! GO BLUE HOSE!
