Pre-Law

Preparation for law school is a demanding and continuous process for many students.  In pre-law studies at PC, we aim to educate and advise our students – both inside and outside of the classroom – about law school and the practice of law and enable them to develop the skills necessary to be successful as law school applicants, students and graduates.

Presbyterian College offers two options to students interested in pre-law:

1) The Pre-law Studies Minor, which is an inter-disciplinary minor that includes courses in economics, English, history, philosophy, political science and public speaking that are designed for a concentration  in pre-law; and

2) Personalized guidance and counseling from the Pre-law Advisor, who works with students one-on-one to provide advice on undergraduate coursework, internships, the law school application process and LSAT preparation, among others.  Students do not need to be Pre-law Studies minors in order to benefit from these advising sessions. All majors are welcome!

Additional information on the law school application process, preparing for the LSAT, resources and relevant links and Frequently Asked Questions can be found on this web site.
