Torch raised, PC slides into Division I
Renovating the baseball and softball facilities was identified as the top priority when PC decided to transition into Division 1. And we’re well on the way.
The college has already committed $250,000 to improving the appearance of the baseball facility. New parking areas and entranceways have been constructed, providing a sense of arrival to the ball park as well as separation from the adjoining fraternity court. Renovation thus far also includes new fencing around the field and a new backstop and screening for improved viewing and appearance.
But we need your help. The design for a D1 baseball facility includes new seating, a press box, and a concessions area behind home plate. Further, renovated dugouts, expanded seating, a new roof, and new lights will provide a ball park that the Blue Hose baseball team and fans will be proud to call home.
PC baseball needs a new home. You can help raise the torch for Division I baseball and softball with a gift to renovate either facility.
