Endowments

Permanent funds that provide for the future of PC

Why do we place so much emphasis on gifts to endowment? Perhaps it is because of what they allow us to do.

Endowments represent our security for the future. They are permanent funds, and the interest earned provides ongoing and permanent support for specific needs of the college.

No college is able to meet all of its expenses through annual funds or tuition. And as colleges grow and the wealth of knowledge our students study expands, our programs, people needs, and facilities must expand as well.

Our endowments support our people through scholarships, professorships, research funds, and other needs of the people who learn and teach here.

They provide support for the ongoing maintenance of our facilities, so that costs associated with the natural aging of a physical plant does not take away from the money we can spend on our people.

They also provide support to expand our programs, providing the resources for our teachers and students to explore key subjects in new ways, through travel, research, and other opportunities.

You can help us provide for the future for PC by establishing an endowment that supports our people, our places, and our programs.
