"PC prepared me to succeed in life by helping to develop me into a more fine-tuned whole person. The academics helped to prepare me with the critical thinking skills and determination to handle the long hours of studying that law school demands.
"I am indebted to my professors, who challenged me to think outside of the box and demanded perfection in my writing skills that is essential in my chosen profession. I am also indebted to my alma mater for offering me leadership positions, such as those with the Student Body, my fraternity, and ROTC.
"As Student Body President, I was charged with representing all of the interests of my fellow students and allowed to exercise my advocacy skills on behalf of the students to our college president and the Board of Trustees, which has been invaluable to me in law school and further in my legal career.
As my fraternity's president, I was allowed the honor of helping to develop younger brothers into more of a "whole man," while also learning the responsibility of being the sole person responsible for other's actions.
As Battalion Commander of PC's ROTC unit, I was given the opportunity to lead a unit of over 120 cadets, while also learning the importance of placing the mission first.
My total experience helped to teach me the importance of time management while also helping me to hone my academic skills that will continue to serve me for the rest of my life."
