The Cornelson Center for the Exploration of Christian Practice enhances PC’s longstanding tradition of encouraging students to consider the ministry and preparing them for a life of service to others. The Center was made possible by a lead gift from George and Ann Cornelson of Clinton, S.C.
The Office of Religious and Spiritual Life and the Cornelson Center for the Exploration of Christian Practice offer a variety of opportunities for spiritual formation and leadership development on campus and beyond through worship and Bible study, fellowship and mission, service and internships, retreats, and even travel and study abroad.
Through the Cornelson Center, PC(USA) students and faculty, pastors and educators, musicians and theologians come together on campus once a month to share and grow together in the areas of preaching, teaching, pastoral care, polity, fellowship, mission, and service. Additionally, students from denominations other than PC(USA) have a campus ministry internship program that engages them in leadership development in all aspects of campus worship, Bible study, fellowship, and pastoral care.
