The Green Hose are a group of Hose that care about sustainability and being good stewards of the Earth. Green Hose tends an organic garden, located behind the soccer stadium, where they grow produce that is served in the Greenville Dining Hall and sold to PC’s faculty and staff. These Hose are also actively seeking philanthropic outlets for their produce and to serve and educate the Clinton community by helping establish a local farmer’s market. If you’re interested in getting involved with the organic garden email Chris Fairfax (email@example.com) or Paul Rice (firstname.lastname@example.org). Another project of Green Hose is providing bicycles that PC students and faculty can check out and use for transportation. These can be checked out for free from the Student Life office on first floor Springs. For more information about how to get involved in Green Hose drop by the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life on first floor Springs, which is responsible for PC’s sustainability and service programs.
