The Catholic Student Association has weekly meetings where they discuss scripture readings and learn about the teachings of the Church, growing in understanding of the basics of the faith. Mass and Confession are offered on campus Sunday evenings at 5 pm in Wyatt Chapel with a visiting priest. Other fellowship activities are sometimes held as well. The group is in the process of getting involved in community service work, possibly through the local Catholic parish in Joanna and Laurens. The group also participates in the statewide Catholic college student retreats, which take place each semester. The mission statement of the group is “to help further our own and each others individual relationships with Christ, to be a voice for Catholic students at PC, and to address the spiritual and social needs of the Catholic student body.”
