Presbyterian College features 11 residence halls, 11 apartments, and 15 townhouses that together house over 90% of the students at the college.
Named for friends of the college, residence halls are:

Three residence halls: Carol International House, Senior Hall, and Barron Hall, are co-educational.
The college uses 15 townhouse units to house 72 senior students and 9 Scottish Arms apartments to house 18 students.

 Barron is an upper-class male residence hall. It is one of the newest residence halls. There is space for 76 residents with a RA on each floor. Every room in Barron is a double-occupancy room and has its own bathroom. Smoking is prohibited in this building. The typical room is approximately 19'8'' by 12'8'' and has one window which is approximately 5'6'' by 3'10''. Each room contains a desk, chair, bed, closet and dresser for each person. The desks, closets and dressers are built into the wall. The beds are free standing and are bunkable; they are standard twin size. Each room has 3 outlets with a total of 10 three-pronged receptacles. Laundry machines are located on each floor -- students do not have to pay to use the laundry machines in the residence halls. These costs are covered through payment of fees to the College.*

 Carol International House, or CIH as it is know at PC, is a unique living-learning residence hall on the PC campus. Residency is open to all PC and international exchange students. Students interested in living in CIH next semester can apply on-line or can stop by the International Programs Office located in the Brown Commons SCIS offices for an application packet. All applicants must also have a recommendation from a member of the PC faculty/staff or a current CIH resident. This form will be included in the application packet available in the International Programs office, or can be found in PDF format on-line.

The 33 residents work together in groups throughout the year to put on programs that are open to the PC Campus which focus on different aspects of the world. For those who are curious about what life at CIH has to offer, feel free to stop by for a visit, hang-out, attend one of the programs or browse through the on-line CIH photo galleries.  Clinton is an all-female facility (upperclassmen women on first, second, and third floors; freshmen women on fourth floor) that has space for 126 students. All of the rooms in Clinton aside from the 4th floor are suite style, meaning that there are two double-occupancy rooms connected by a bathroom. Additionally, there are two single-occupancy rooms, which have their own private bathroom. There are 4 RAs in the hall. The typical room is approximately 13'8'' by 15'11'' and has one window which is approximately 5'5'' by 4''.
Each room contains a desk, chair, standard twin bed, closet and dresser for each person. The desks are built into the wall, but the dressers and beds are free standing and moveable. The 16 students enjoy housing on the 4th floor with a different room set up. The rooms are approximately 14'11'' by 13'5'' and come with a moveable bed, chest of drawers, desk, and closet for each resident. There is one shared community bathroom for the residents of the 4th floor. Only the common room has a window of the 4th floor. The beds are standard twin size. Each room in Clinton has 3 power outlets with a total of 6 three-pronged receptacles. Laundry machines are located in the basement and on the 2nd and 3rd floor -- students do not have to pay to use the laundry machines in the residence halls.  Georgia is the largest residence hall on campus and contains single, double, and triple-occupancy rooms.268 male students can be housed in Georgia. The majority of the rooms in Georgia are suites -- this means that there are two-double-occupancy rooms connected by a bathroom. There are six single-occupancy rooms which each has their own bathroom. There are also 4 double-occupancy rooms that have their own bathroom. Georgia houses both first-year male students and upperclassmen. There are 7 RAs in the building. The typical room is approximately 15'8'' by 15'7'' and has one window which is approximately 5'7'' by 3'6''. Each room contains a desk, chair, bed, closet and dresser for each person. The desks, closets and dressers are all built into the wall. The beds are free standing and bunkable -- all the beds in Georgia have extra long mattresses (36 x 79 size). Each room has 4 outlets with a total of 8 three-pronged receptacles. Laundry machines are located in the basement -- students do not have to pay to use the laundry machines in the residence halls. These costs are covered through payment of fees to the College. First-year students should be aware that the college has tripled rooms in Georgia in the past and retains the right to do so in the future.*

 Laurens has space for 24 upper-class females. There are two single-occupancy rooms and 11 double-occupancy rooms in Laurens. There are 9 double-occupancy rooms which contain three separate rooms and 2 double-occupancy rooms which contain 2 separate rooms. Students share a common bathroom located in the hallway of each floor. There is one RA in the building. The typical room in Laurens has 3 separate rooms. The first measures approximately 10' by 7'; the second measures approximately 10'9'' by 11'6''. The other room measures approximately 12' by 6'10''. Each room also contains a freestanding dresser, chair, bed, and desk for each resident. There is also a closet for each resident and the beds are standard twin size. Each room has 4 outlets with a total of 8 three-pronged receptacles. Laundry machines are located in the bathroom on the first floor -- students do not have to pay to use the laundry machines in the residence halls.  The College has 11 double-occupancy apartments in Scottish Arms where senior students are housed. Students living in Scottish Arms pay for their housing cost through the College's billing system. However, students are responsible for paying their own utilities (except for water, sewer, and trash), which are covered by the college.

 The Senior Hall opened in the fall of 2002 and is home to 71 PC senior students. The hall offers 71 beds in 16 apartments for comfortable student living. There are 12 units holding 4 students, 3 units for 6 people, and one apartment for 5 individuals. Each apartment comes with cable television in each bedroom and living room, bedroom with closet and furniture, including adjustable height bed, dresser, desk, chair, and book case. The units also have a kitchen with a sink, refrigerator, stove, and built-in cabinets. The 4 person units allow each resident to have their own room with one full bath and one half bathroom. The 6 person units have two single-occupancy rooms and two double-occupancy rooms with two full bathrooms. The new hall will be coed by unit. There is 1 RA in the building. The room dimensions in the Senior Hall are as follows: Single Rooms: 8'-2'' x 12'-9'', Double Rooms: 13'-6'' x 14'-3'', Living Area with Kitchen: 11'6'' x 19'0''.*

 Smyth is a 91 capacity residence hall for first-year and upper class women and contains single, double, and triple-occupancy rooms. The majority of the rooms consist of two separate rooms. One room is approximately 14' by 10'6'' and the other room is approximately 11'6'' by 9'6''. There are normally two windows measuring approximately 5'5'' by 4'1''. Each room has a desk, chair, bed, dresser and closet for each resident. The desk, chairs, and beds are all free standing and can be moved according to the students' wishes. There are 3 RAs in the building. Residents in Smyth share a common bathroom found on each floor. The beds are standard twin size and each room has 6 outlets with a total of 12 three-pronged receptacles. Laundry machines are located in the bathroom on the 1st floor -- students do not have to pay to use the laundry machines in the residence halls. These costs are covered through payment of fees to the College. First-year students should be advised that the college has tripled residents in Smyth in the past and retains the right to do so in the future.*

 The college townhouses consist of three buildings, each of which contains three four-person townhouses and two six-person units for a total capacity of 72 students. The four person townhouses have a kitchen, living room, dining room, half bath, covered patio and storage room downstairs; and a double-occupancy bedroom, two single-occupancy bedrooms, laundry room, and two baths upstairs. The six-person townhouses are identical to the four person units except they have a double bedroom and full bath downstairs in addition to the aforementioned amenities. The townhouses are restricted to students of senior status, meaning someone who has 90 credit hours or more at the beginning of the fall semester. The townhouses are coed by unit and there are two RAs for the area.* Floor plan not available.
