THE SCHOLARSHIP INCLUDES:
Full Tuition and fees or Room and Board*
Receive $1200 annually for books.
All Contracted Cadets receive a monthly stipend ($300 for freshmen, $350 for sophomores, $450 for juniors, and $500 for seniors).
* Newberry and Presbyterian College pays for Room and Board for ROTC Scholarship recipients.
The 4 year ROTC Scholarship window for High School juniors and seniors is between Februrary 1st of their junior year and January 10th of their senior year. Typically there are three scholarship review selection boards that are held in October, December, and February.
Requirements:
All scholarship applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
US Citizen
Less than 30 years old at time of comissioning.
920 SAT or 19 ACT composite.
2.5 Cumulative Grade Point Average on 4.0 scale.
Be in good physical condition and be able to pass a medical examination.
Conduct a Professor of Military Science Interview.
Conduct a Presidential Fitness Test.
Meet Height/Weight Requirements.

Obligations:
Upon graduation from our program, the cadet will be commissioned as a 2LT and serve on active duty for four years or serve in the Reserve components for six years.
All cadets are required to take one ROTC course per semester.
In addition to the ROTC courses, all cadets must take one military history course, and also be able to pass a swim test.
Cadets are required to participate in three Physical Training (PT) sessions
weekly.
All Cadets take part in one Field Training Exercise (FTX) each semester. This usually involves a Friday through Sunday at a nearby training site.
