Entrepreneurial student's European itinerary includes climbing
rocks, improving French, riding horses (in no particular order)

Dear friends at PC,

I have really enjoyed my time in Europe. I am studying abroad in Grenoble, France, located in the heart of the French Alps. I am surrounded by snow-covered mountains, and the city is amazing. There is always something to do -- museums, rock climbing (my personal favorite), or just relaxing at a local cafe.

I have also had time to travel to London, Oxford, Venice, Germany, Paris, Rome, and the Cote d'Azur. I may have seen Coolio in Venice, but my favorite travelling experience so far has been horse-riding in the south of France near the Mediterranean Sea.

The exchange rate has been very rough for Americans here, but I have still been able to enjoy a lot that Europe has to offer. I am staying with a host family, and it has given me a great opportunity to improve my French.

I am studying at the Grenoble Ecole Superieure de Commerce (Grenoble School of Management). I am taking several International Business classes there. If there is one thing I have noticed, it has been that this school, even though it is ranked #6 in Europe, does not even come close to the education at PC. I have really come to realize how special PC is, and I have a new appreciation for the high quality of education that PC has to offer.

I also miss being at PC and running the bookstore first-hand. Fortunately, being away this semester has given me lots of time to come up with new ideas for my business, and I'm looking forward to trying them out next semester when I return.

I've attached some photos of my experience as well. I look forward to reading another great article!
