Counseling Services

Whether you are looking for individual counseling, help for a friend, colleague, or student with emotional concerns, Presbyterian College Counseling Services offers appointments where your concerns and questions can be discussed freely and confidentially. We also offer information about various illnesses such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, etc.

Our counseling services are provided free of charge to full-time students on a voluntary basis. Our sessions are confidential. No information will be given to anyone without your written permission. No information about the service will appear on your transcripts or any other document outside of the counseling center. You do not need to be referred by anyone to benefit from the services of the Counseling Center.

Consultation services, including workshops and information on mental health issues, are available to student organizations, PC faculty and staff.

PC Counseling Services is housed in the Wellness Center along with Health Services, the medical unit of our Wellness facility.

Urgent and Emergency Counseling

Students experiencing distressing or emergency situations are seen by Counseling Services staff as quickly as possible. Students may come to Counseling Services during regular business hours if they are in distress.

If you have an after hours emergency please call 911 or go to the Emergency Department of Laurens County Hospital.

 

The Wellness Center is located at 120 East Calhoun Street.
