Twenty-six members of the PC community have been honored with the MLK Drum Major for Service Presidential Volunteer Service Award. The award is given to those who volunteer to address a variety of unmet critical needs in their communities.

“These phenomenal volunteer efforts reflect the nature of the Presbyterian College community and express the core values of kindness, compassion, humility, integrity, and faithfulness of the Beloved Community of which Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. dreamed and for which he gave his life,” said Dr. Jeri Parris Perkins, Dean of Religious Life at PC.

The MLK Drum Major for Service award includes gold, silver, and bronze levels.

Gold Level winners

Students who received the Gold Level of the award volunteered at least 250 hours over the past 12 months. Gold Level Drum Majors for Service include:

Silver Level winners

Students who earned the Silver Level Drum Major for Service award, volunteering 175 to 249 hours this past year, include:

Faculty who earned the Silver Level of the award, volunteering 250 to 499 hours this past year, include:
