Homecoming Overview
It’s that time of year again. The leaves begin to change, the temperature slowly begins to drop, football stands are filled with fans and our fellow Blue Hose return home. The weekend of October 24-25, Presbyterian College welcomed many Blue Hose back to their alma mater for Homecoming Weekend 2014. It was a weekend filled with Blue Pride and events such as a kick-off dinner followed by a celebration featuring live music – dancing shoes were required!
On Saturday, alumni were honored for their community service, professional achievements and dedication to PC at the annual Alumni Awards Ceremony, which was held in Edmunds Hall. The Class of 1964 was also honored, as they were inducted into the Ben Hay Hammet Society. Alumni, students, faculty and staff gathered next at Bailey Memorial Stadium for pre-game tailgates, which featured great food, live music and corn hole. Those who attended had a blast reuniting with old friends and making new ones!
The game against Monmouth was an exciting one as it was PC’s fifth victory of the season. At halftime, the winners of Mr. and Ms. Blue Hose and the 2014 Homecoming Queen were announced.
PC’s 2014 Homecoming Weekend was a true success. We look forward to seeing you back at future events throughout the year! On, On PC!
