School of Pharmacy Presents First Research Symposium

Symposium-alfonso-2
On January 10th, Presbyterian College School of Pharmacy’s Office of Research presented the 1st Pharmacy Research Symposium. The research symposium included informational workshops on the School of Pharmacy’s research opportunities, over 10 scientific research seminars led by the School of Pharmacy faculty, as well as student podium and poster presentations. Three students were also awarded with the three best abstracts: Arathi Pillay (P3), Evan Bryson (P1), and Michael Cohen (P4). “The 1st Symposium in Pharmacy Research was a great success, with about 100 attendee between faculty and students (PC and School of Pharmacy). The attendance was that great that we needed to open a satellite room in which we streamed the lectures, this is something we had already prepared,” said Dr. Alfonso Romero-Sandoval. “It is worth noting that the School of Pharmacy has the appropriate technology to accommodate for these situations.”
